Attorney Frank Grzywinski has more than 31 years of legal experience. He has practiced exclusively in the areas of Workers’ Compensation, Personal Injury, and Social Security Law for the past 21 years. His background enables his clients to receive the medical benefits they need and to maximize their financial recovery.
Mr. Grzywinski graduated from Duquesne University School of Law in 1984. While attending law school, he was employed by the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office as a certified legal intern. After receiving his law degree, he clerked in the United States District Court, where he reviewed hundreds of Social Security cases on appeal. Mr. Grzywinski then joined a defense firm, practicing in the area of Workers’ Compensation. In 1988, he was recruited by the Office of the Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and appointed a Deputy Attorney General in the Criminal Division. While serving in this position, he was also appointed as a Special Assistant United States Attorney for the Western District of Pennsylvania on a joint State and Federal Task Force. Mr. Grzywinski tried criminal cases, including insurance fraud and white collar crime, throughout Pennsylvania. He was also involved in numerous Grand Jury Investigations.
Following his government employment, Mr. Grzywinski accepted a position as an associate with the law firm of S. James Goldman, P.C. He eventually became a partner in the law firm of Weisman, Goldman, Bowen, and Grzywinski, concentrating his practice in the areas of Personal Injury, Workers’ Compensation and Social Security Law. Upon the retirement of his partners in 2014, he established his own law firm, Frank J. Grzywinski, P.C. He maintains offices in the Grant Building, in downtown Pittsburgh, and in Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania.
Attorney Grzywinski settled a multi-million dollar truck accident case. He subsequently negotiated a settlement with the Workers’ Compensation carrier for this client, and successfully represented him before the Social Security Administration. The injured worker received a substantial monetary settlement from the personal injury accident case and was still able to receive monthly Social Security benefits and the necessary medical benefits for his future medical needs. Mr. Grzywinski has represented over 1,000 clients with numerous physical and mental impairments before the Social Security Administration.
